Start every day with another shape (C/A/G/E/D)
1. minor : i – iv => iv becomes i => …. (12x)
i -> iΔ7 -> i7 -> i6 -> iv (iv becomes i) i -> iΔ7 -> i7 -> i6 -> iv (iv becomes i) i -> iΔ7 etc …
In chords it will look like :
Cm -> CmΔ7 -> Cm7 -> Cm6 -> Fm
Fm -> FmΔ7 -> Fm7 -> Fm6 -> A#m
A#m -> A#mΔ7 etc …
(12 x in total see table below)
2. major : I – IV => IV becomes I => …. (12x)
I -> IΔ7 -> I7 -> I6 -> IV (IV becomes I) I -> IΔ7 -> I7 -> I6 -> IV (IV becomes I) I -> IΔ7 etc …
In chords it will look like :
C -> CΔ7 -> C7 -> C6 -> F
F -> FΔ7 -> F7 -> F6 -> A#
A# -> A#Δ7 etc …
(12 x in total see table below)
Only 1 important rule :
The IV chord must be in another shape of choice than the I chord (C/A/G/E/D) and do not stick to just 2 shapes, use all 5 shapes. The shape you use for the IV chord you use again to continue the next I-IV progression.
Table with all possibilities of I-> IV chords
