One of the exercises I do myself to stretch my fingers and train my finger (muscle) memory. The idea is that I get a rolling bass note while the Em shape remains static but not always with the same fingers. Depending on the chord I have to swap my pinky with my ring finger in order to make my middle finger free or move my index finger one fret down or one string up. I keep repeating the whole thing continuously. So 1 upto 5 back to 1 and repeat.
You will notice it is in the beginning not so easy as it looks. Try to get a steady tempo and START SLOWLY !!
You can see also that The chord name changes every time as the root is changing. Of course there is also an easy way to name these chords by treating them each time as an Em chord. Em - Em/D - Em/C# - Em/C - Em/B.
But the shapes I use here are commonly used shapes for : Em
D13 (this naming can be debated as there is no b7)
C#m7/b5(half dim)
Cmaj7
except for Em/B this is a 2nd inversion of the Em chord.
